Preggo brain!

Okay, so I was always very skeptical about the whole "lowered IQ" "forgetfulness" thing while you're pregnant...until this week it really hit me. Remember how people always say, "I'm so out of it that I found my keys in the refrigerator" just as a way to express how out of it they are? Well, I really did find my keys in the refrigerator. Ya. I know. Pathetic. That's not all though! This Sunday we were in a huge hurry to get out the door and to church, so we basically scarfed down a bowl of cereal and ran out the door. Later during Sacrament meeting, I started to freak out because "I knew" I forgot to turn the straightner off and we were going to come home to a burned down apartment!!! We hurried home and I ran up the stairs (big feat at this moment in time)just to go into the bathroom and find that the straightner was turned off. I really am losing it! Luckily there are only 13 weeks and 3 days til my due date!!! (Again, not counting)

Blogging annoyance!

So if you couldn't already tell, my blog page is somewhat messed up! All my friends and blog lists are all the way at the bottom of this page! I can't even see them because they basically blend into my background...Anyone know how to fix it? Desperate is a little intense to say, but I would LOVE anyone to help!

Our 2:30am plumber...

This week has been very eventful to say the least! Lots of homework/stress, work/stress, lack of sleep/stress, and a water heater that rusted through the bottom/stress! Love it! Long story short, we came home Monday to find a sign on our door that read "The apartment below has a leak coming from your apartment. Please call maintenance." As the toilet overflowed a little bit ago, I figured it had something to do with that. Apparently not. When the maintenance guys came, they said that our water heater was leaking and that they would have to have a plumber come and either fix it or get a new water heater all together.

Well, last night after Michael's last two tournament softball games (so fun!), we came home to a plumber walking up the stairs with a new water heater! Great stuff. It was about 10:30pm at this time and so we figured he wouldn't be there much longer. Wrong. At 12:30am we asked if everything was going okay. He said ya it's going great! So of course, we thought that meant probably another 20 min or so. About an hour went by and he was still working on it. Another 20 min went by and the fire alarm went off because of the smoke that was coming from our new water heater. Finally, I went downstairs and asked if he was almost done. He really was this time. By the time he had gathered up all his belongings and everything was working pretty well, it was 2:30am. I don't do 2:30am. 10:30 pm is pushing it. But really? Oh well! Everything is wonderful and fixed now! Thanks to Amy and John and John's cousins!!!

Here is me at my 24 week mark! Everything is going well with our little boy! And I just quit my job so that I wouldn't be so stressed anymore. I heard it's not a very good thing to be so stressed when you're pregnant...therefore, only school for me for the rest of the summer! Yay!!! (Ignore the bad hair day....I was up too late to want to do it this morning!)

For REAL!

Yes, I realize that my title for this post is cliche, but I don't care:) So last Saturday after we went to a family graduation party for Janelle (which was so fun!), Michael and I headed up to the REAL Salt Lake soccer game! We had a blast! My dad was able to score us awesome tickets because Tom and his team were playing at half time! How fun is that? They were great and they all looked so cute out on that HUGE field!

Rachel and Carrie! Too adorable :)

Matt and Catie! Love them!

Here is us! Cute huh? (I especially like my burn line, not tan line, burn line)

Tom and Mike are both out on the field! So lucky!

Here they are playing:)

It was such a great game! REAL won and they had to go overtime because a player on the other team was complaining about a call for so long! Little would he know that those three minutes cost his team another goal! Go REAL!
