Finally an update! And some pretty exciting news :)

Okay, so I figured since I just finished my last final for this semester that I should probably blog about our lives! Crazy idea right? I mean, who blogs? Apparently, not me. Anyway! Here is just a quick rundown of the last almost 8 months...ready, set, go!

- We are now living at my parent's house and have been for the last 4 months. They have been so generous and we can't thank them enough!

- I cut my hair a while ago...craziest thing ever! It's normal length for me now, but great adventure!

- We are moving into my aunt and uncle's condo in about a week and can't handle our excitement!! :)

- Michael is going to UVU and studying International Business. Until he finds something else that he wants to do, that is his path for now.

- I just finished Winter semester and will be going to school through Spring and Summer semesters as a full time student and part time employee.

- We gained another niece on April 9th! Peyton is so adorable and I can't wait to meet her!

- My youngest sister got baptized on April 10th and it was beautiful! She got to fast for the first time and couldn't believe it was TWO ENTIRE MEALS she wasn't supposed to eat.

And lastly....

I'm having a baby!!!!!! :)

How crazy is that?! I am about 17 1/2 weeks along (not counting) and the baby is due October 2nd. I was pretty sick at the beginning and school was close to impossible! I'm much better now, but I haven't really gained any weight....just inches. Gotta love it! I can't wait for a cute preggo belly and to get away from this whole, "Wait, you're pregnant?!" thing.

I don't think I have any excuse not to blog now! As I get more updates on the baby, I will update this blog and hopefully figure out how this whole blogging thing works!

Our apartment as promised! And an update of our lives :)

My favorite part of our apartment :)
Here is the unorganized mess of this corner :)

The long view from family room to bedroom. i.e. The whole apartment

Beautiful kitchen that I am actually very pleased with

Our decorated kitchen table. Fake flowers! Definite favorite.

So I'm still getting the hang of this blogging thing and realized that you have to put the pictures on after the text if you really want the pictures at the end of your post.....ya I'm smart!
I realized just a little bit ago that I'm not allowed to get irritated when other people haven't posted anything especially when I haven't posted anything in almost 2 months!!!! So here ya go!
Anyway! Michael and I are now started in school and everything is as crazy as ever! I'm working 20 hours and have 15 credits and Michael is working full time and has 2 classes (swimming and Spanish). Talk about busy huh? We both got grants to support us in school so that is definitely a huge blessing.
I'm no longer a teenager and love it! People still say "Wow! You're so young! I can't believe you're married!" But now I feel okay about my age and being married :) It's great!
We are still waiting to hear back from the FAA about air traffic control for Michael and I think I'm more ancy about it than he is! He has so much patience and I just wish I had a little bit of that! Once we hear back, he is going to be studying like mad for this test...hopefully he will have time to hang out with me!
Anyway, I have to run to class, but that is just a short summary of what has been going on with us:) Love you all!

Oh Canada!

So after 3 months of being extremely excited to get tan on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Viarta, and Mazatlan, our trip took a literal 180. Because of the wonderful swine flu going on down in Mexico, our cruise was re-routed to...can you guess it?.....CANADA! Well, even though we were excited that our cruise was still on and not cancelled, you can imagine how slighted we felt.

We then decided we were going to go with the best attitudes we could muster up and still have fun. And we did....oh so much fun! Everything on the ship was amazing! The ship was beautiful and there really was so much to do! I got to beat Michael in Mini-golf (he won a few times too) and we ate to our heart's content :) (we are now paying for that, but it was....worth it?)

We ended up stopping in Astoria, Victoria, and Vancouver. Vancouver was actually warmer than Long Beach, CA! Can you imagine that? We couldn't! Hence the many sweatshirts you see us wearing.

Anyway, of course I thought the best part was the show during dinner! Our Maitre'd would sing a different song every night while each of the waiters danced on tables. They were actually pretty good! The hard thing though was that we were smack dab in the center of the restaurant and since the Maitre'd announced that we were "honeymooners" on the very first day of the cruise, all eyes were on us!!! Michael really enjoyed that (sarcasm).

The other shows on the ship were great as well! The singers were amazing and the dancers (though a little on the slutty side) were awesome.

All in all, the trip was a 10 and we enjoyed every minute of it. :)

Wedding Pics

Michael and I have now been married for two months and I just got this up! Can you say slacker? But really, I think I can say for the both of us that these past two months have been the best of our lives :)

The wedding day was beautiful (as you can see from the pictures) and we loved every minute of it! We got to see some old friends, see family that we haven't seen in ages, and make many many new friends! I also got to stuff the cake in Michael's face :) That was a plus.

The best part of it though, is the fact that I get to be with my best friend forever. We were able to be sealed for time and ALL eternity! We like to say "it's just not long enough".

All in all, it was a perfect day :)
